So, my 2nd baby was recently diagnosed with silent reflux and we tried Zantac but that didn't work so we're onto Prevacid. She is getting better, we are EBF and dairy limited (not quite dairy free, but very little). She is doing better so I think it is doing its job! We are still struggling with bed time being like a witching hour, and waking during naps, but I'll take that over an all day fuss/cry fest! My question is this - how do I keep her inclined & swaddled? We have been using a nap nanny for sleeping. Have had it for 3 years now from my son, however, due to the recall I am seeking alternative methods for inclining my little girl who still wants to be swaddled. I do get her out for a dreamfeed so I am worried that some of the slings' velcro is going to be too loud and wake her instead. Suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

My daughter slept in her car seat or swing till she was three. FYI prevacid has milk in it unless you get it compounded!!!

Are you giving prevacid on empty stomach half hour prior to eating?

prevacid
As best we can, yes 30min before eating. I try to do it in the eves when she's up for the longest/refusing a nap betweeen dinner and her bedtime nursing. I've thought about the buffer belly stuff so I don't have to worry about the timing. I am aware it has lactose in the solutabs...hoping it is a small enough amount and he fact that I am not completely dairy free that she won't be bothered. I wish she was more like my son because then we could do car seat or swing...she's not always keen on those.
