Res-q Wedge and sling, how to get one for an affordable price please
Hello, Sleepless nights filled with heartache as I watch my son Nicholas battle with silent acid reflux, seeing him unable to get comfortable and crying is taking a toll on us, emotionally and physically. We need a change, we need help. He has an appointment with the gastroenterologist in November the 6th and I am sure he is going to change the medication, in the meantime I changed the formula to Nutramigen and I am breastfeeding too. He doesn't want to chew, so I use the blender all the time. I am cooking his own food to avoid any kind of spicy or something that trigger his reflux. Please, does anybody knows where or how to get a Res-q Wedge and sling for an affordable price, he is 10 months old and is 18 pounds. I can not afford the Res-q right now, I am unemployed and I do not know what to do. Pleases help!! My first daughter was born with meconium peritonitis and she died when she was 3 months old, so, this reflux is driving me crazy. Please help. =(

I'm so sorry. Wow. A loss and now reflux. My heart goes out to you and in these times it's just so hard. I'm assuming you've looked into your insurance covering it already. My only suggestions are to see if anyone has one for sale on Craigslist and see if they are willing to barter for it. Maybe you have something in the garage or house you can spare for now. You can always turn around and sell the wedge once you are done with it too. If that doesn't work out, I would suggest e-mailing and calling the company directly to see if they have returns or discounted ones (older models or something..anything). Tell them your situation and maybe they can help somehow. If all this fails, hunt around your house for stuff to sell and have a garage sale. Ask friends and family to donate stuff for your cause. Everyone has some stuff laying around they don't need and would probably be glad to contribute to help you. Good luck! Macy

Thank you!
Thank you Tiasmama for your message, Thanks God we got one on ebay =0) for a good price, unfortunately our insurance doesn't cover the wedge, but honestly all the insurance should cover the wedge for a baby with reflux. This reflux has been a long process and brought back a lot of sad memories. We have an appointment with the gastroenterologist next week and I am pretty sure she is going to change some of the medication. through this process my faith has grow and I am overcoming my fears, I can not continue living in the past I need to focus in the future and I am sure my baby is healed. I need to be strong and keep confessing God's promises for my baby. His name is Nicholas =0) Additionally I am praying for a job, hopefully a work from home job. thank you very much, Blessing! sofia

He is so super cute!! I have such boy envy. lol Reflux is a horrible things, but hopefully he will outgrow it soon. I hope things get easier for you both soon. Financial strains and medical issues are terrible on their own, but put together I can not imagine the stress you must be under. May God hear your prayers. :-) Macy
