Need GI recommendation-Bay area, California
I live near San Jose, California. Does anyone have any good GI recommendations in this area? I currently have a GI but unhappy with her. Thanks.

Lorenzo b.4/25/07 1 week in NICU w/ aspirate pneumonia from a reflux episode; diagnosed GERD at 9weeks; Used Zantac for 5months. Currently using Chinese Medicine and Craniosacral Therapy. GERD, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Sensory Processing Disorder. Ask me about breastfeeding a refluxer! Pic: day 5 in the NICU.
We see Dr. Dorsey Bass at Stanford (Lucille Packard Children's Hospital). He is very gentle, experienced, and willing to discuss all options and concerns. He is one of the very few physicians we dealt with who truly seemed to listen to my concerns and be willing to truly work with me in deciding how to proceed at each step. How did I not know you are in San Jose? I'm just over the hill north of Santa Cruz!

We have actually corresponded over email before but I think in our sleep deprived states we have somehow forgotten that we live fairly close to one another! Thanks for the info about Dr. Bass. I will see if he comes to the San Jose location. BTW do you know any good allergist in the area?

Yes, sleep deprivation has definitely drained my brain. I remember our email correspondence, but the whole living over the hill thing just went clear out of my mind... Possibly because just going to the market sometimes seems like such an undertaking that 30 miles seems like 3000....:)

I don't know of any good allergists, but I will ask around among my mama friends here and let you know!
