Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Read his story for more specifics that just might help you too - Karen
|If you fear he is dehydrated you need to take him to the emergency room immediately and force them to do blood work. Hydration can not be visually seen in infants. I had Ryan in the ER for IV fluids every 6 weeks for a long time until I could get his meds right. Each time I was told he was "fine" by the ped. He was not. The blood test proved it. After a while the ER docs knew what to visually look for in him personally with out the blood work (it was always obvious to me). I could see it in his forehead and eyes. His forhead skin looked like syran wrap to me... aka nothing between the skin and the skull if that makes sense. Are you in Washington Iowa?|
