Looking for a pediatric gastroenterologist at Cincinnati Childrens or in Lexington, kyMy daughter is 16. She was diagnosed 6 years ago with GERD, she also has allergies to mold, dust mites, grass, pet dander, etc. She has taken PPI's for 6 years now. The meds do not help a lot-she has a very restricted diet. About a year ago she began having nightmares. We would love for her to be medication free. Anyway, we are looking for a new doc. Her former doc has moved out of state. We did take her to Cincinnati once-but were disappointed (the doctor seemed very arrogant). Can someone recommend a reputable doctor at Cincinnati or in Lexington, KY?

|Did you ever find a good GI? I just wanted to say, our daughter has severe GERD and we found that there were additional issues going on, after she was evaluated by the GI. She ended up on a medication called Levsin for spasms and it really helped her. We have even been able to reduce her PPI. I would also wonder if your daughter was checked for EoE?? Feel free to e-mail me if I can help! RackleyFive@cox.net||Check with your
