Medication question - new to all this!Hi,
We have a 14 week old foster son who has reflux. He was started on Zantac, which worked for a little while, but he is now on Reglan and Prevacid. My question is about timing of the meds. Both say that I am supposed to wait 30 minutes to feed him after giving them. Is it ok to give both medications at the same time? I have been giving the Prevacid, waiting 30 minutes, then giving the Reglan and waiting another 30 minutes before feeding him, but he's not always patient enough to wait that long, especially first thing in the morning!
Thanks for your ideas!

|God bless people like you to love just one more. We have done the reglan thing had to go off because she has epilepsy and it can cause more problems. We were on it for awhile do some research is all I can say as for timing prevacid is most important to time 30 mins before. Im thinking because reglan is based on weight hes not on that many mls per day. Caracream is also another option and I believe that can make miracles. A 14wk old is not one to wait too long to eat.|

Zack born 09/28/07 @ 31 weeks. Dx silent reflux @ 6 mo. Now not so silent. Switched to Elecare @ 9 mo. On Prevacid 15mg 1x daily. Looking to stop the puke and gain some lbs.
Puke stopped about 24 months and he's learning to eat...very slowly.
Still on prevacid and periactin.
|We did both for a while. I gave them together...I mixed the prevacid with a little water to dissolve it, then added the Reglan and usually a little Dr pepper to mask the taste...and down the hatch. it worked well for us. Good luck!!||Check with your
