Feb 17, 2011 shelefisher Michelle Noah 6 years Paige almost 4 (GERD graduate!) Soren 11 weeks - (GERD, Soy and Dairy sensitive) 15mg prevacid + 2mg zantac | the aluminum free Mylanta is off the market - now what? With our daughter we were told to do Mylanta when she was really bad and Soren is going through a really rough patch now but the Pharmacist told us the other Mylanta has been discontinued :(
Is there an alternative? |
Feb 18, 2011 vigilantmom Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Read his story for more specifics that just might help you too - Karen | It does not sound like it is going to be off the shelf for long. They have to change their lables because there is a small of alchol in it as does most medicine. Do you have enough to get you by for a month or so? |

It has the calcium carbonate like Mylanta but not the magnesium. |
Jun 09, 2011 mctwins Austin | When my son was really young and would vomit liquids I gave him immediately, I held a tums smoothie (really tight and without letting the part I was holding get wet) and let him suck it. He loved it. But you can also dilute it.
But...cherry supreme was also off the shelf here (and I panicked) but a few months later I was able to buy three. I think it might be back now? |
