no EE (biopsies aren't back yet, but she doens't see any other signs of it). He does, however have a hiatal hernia. BOO! She cant tell if it's from birth or a result of almost 3 years of violent puking. She put us on Zegerid (which is OMG expensive...any chance Z would take the OTC??) and back on Erythro for 6 weeks to see if we can get things back uder better control...his cough is terrible. ugh. I'm tired.

Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Yay on no EE, boo on the hernia. Sorry!!!!

Yes he can use Zegrid OTC. That is what Ryan is on. If you still have the packets I sent you mix 14 opened capsules, with one bag of the flavored caracream and 100 ML of water. That is how your pharmacy is making it only you can do it yourself of much less. If he doesnt like the taste order the Cocobase Z. Its chocolate flavored. www.refluxsolutions.com Likely you will do 7 ml in the morning and 7 ml at night. What is the dosage they put him on of what you just bought?

Each capsule is 20mg so it will depend on the concentration they make. Some of the pharmacies do 2:1 others do 3:1. If you end up making it into a liquid yourself it will be a 2 to 1, so you will want to give 10 ML total. 5 ml in the morning and 5 ml at night which will total 20mg. No need to schedule it around food. It doesnt matter if they have an empty stomach or not or if they eat afterwards. Yay Zegrid!

Did the GI suggest Zyrtec for a little while to decrease the inflamation?

When do you have to get the hernia repaired? How were the tonsils and adenoids? With that much puking I could see those being enlarged now too which will make him ever more gaggy.

Never ending cycle. I feel bad for you guys. Boo. : (
