My son Levi is 13 weeks old. We figured out he has reflux @ 2 weeks. We have tried 4 different formuls (Currently Neocate) and he is taking Pepcid, Prevacid, Mylanta, Grip Water
Issues with avacado??
So my LO is almost 7 months old. Last night i introduced him to avacado. He ate 2 tablespoons of it with his organinc brown rice (which he eats on a daily basis) I fed him around 7 pm. He was throwing up at 2am. I gave him some for lunch today (at 12) and he threw up once and has been very fussy/screaming since. Should i keep trying the avacado? I thought avacados are the best thing to start with for a baby with food allergies? HELP!!

Lorenzo b.4/25/07 1 week in NICU w/ aspirate pneumonia from a reflux episode; diagnosed GERD at 9weeks; Used Zantac for 5months. Currently using Chinese Medicine and Craniosacral Therapy. GERD, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Sensory Processing Disorder. Ask me about breastfeeding a refluxer! Pic: day 5 in the NICU.
Some babies have a hard time dealing with the fat content, and I've known a few who had allergic type reactions to it (myself included). Personally, I would stop offering the avocado for now...

I'm calling the Pediatrician in the morning. He now has a bleeding butt rash. It literally wasn't there, he pooped & started screaming at the top of his lungs. Arrrg. I hate this.

Sounds like an allergy. I know several of several people (includ. my niece) who are allergic to avacodo.
