Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Read his story for more specifics that just might help you too - Karen
The chart on their site was interactive just that you plugged in the age and weight and it spit out a dosage. I did find this posting that might help you... 1.25 to 1.5mg per kg of weight. http://www.infantreflux.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2668&PN=1&TPN=1. Its from 2005 but it should be the same or very close.

Did you notice that the dosage gets smaller the older they get. That is because their bodies dont metabolize it as fast as they get older. They are also big into giving it 3 times a day. I couldnt do 3 times a day because of daycare but 2 times a day worked just great for Ryan. He was on 30 mg a day with little relief. After changing to Caracream I was able to drop him down to 15 mg really quickly.
