Being a caretakerIt's hard work, not a lot of people realize the struggle mommas like us go through to keep our babies happy and healthy, especially when they are so sick. but i just wanted to share something with you. you need to take care of yourself too! any health issues, mental physical or emotional, try your hardest to get them met! Even if it's a once a week drive to starbucks alone with music blaring
I am saying this because I have seriously neglected my health in the course of trying to get Emily's issues under control. A health issue I did not take care of and follow up on 4 years ago (found out while i was pregnant with emily) turned into a severe health concern now.
I won't post my issues because I don't want to make this about me but i just wanted to let you all know that I am not well, and I probably won't be around very much. So i wanted to say good luck to all of you mommas out there and i wish you all the strength to take the very best care of your family and don't put yourself last! <3 <3<3

Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Read his story for more specifics that just might help you too - Karen
|That is a good reminder to all of the moms on the board. Everyone of us has done the same physcially and emotionally to ourselves and the non Refluxers around us. I am so sorry to hear that you are paying the price for it right now. You know where to find us if there is anything we can do for you. Jen R. has my number and email address if you need anything at all. |
