Endoscopy Monday
We knew it was inevitable, but I'm still worried about Luke's endoscopy tomorrow. My biggest fear is complications, my next fear is that we're subjecting him to this procedure unnecessarily. His symptoms have certainly gotten better with age, but persist none the less. Part of me will be glad to have some concrete answers, rather than the guessing games we've played for the last 2 years. Anyone out there have some last minute words of wisdom or comfort?

Our scope was an easy procedure because your little one is asleep for it! It is also nice to know whatever the results are. It is a pretty quick procedure. Please keep us posted

Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Read his story for more specifics that just might help you too - Karen
We will be thinking of you. It will be super fast and painless. The hardest part will be when they take him from your arms.

The endoscopy is really fast and the information you get is so worth it. I was pretty nervous before our first scope, but honestly I only sat in the waiting room less than 15 minutes before the dr came in to tell me they were done. If we hadn't had it done we still would be searching for answers for Johnnies problems. He had a little bit of a sore throat for a day or so after but he was still able to take his bottle that afternoon.

Endoscopy Delayed
Thanks for all the words of encouragement. The procedure was delayed due to Luke catching a cold. We're trying again for the 14th. Keep your fingers crossed.
