Sep 21, 2009 noor117 Strong, Beautiful, daughter who is thriving beyond imagination and a healthy, happy 3 year old. | OT Mitochondrial disorder Some of you know me, some don't since I have been inactive for a while. Meggy-my daughter and I both have had continuous health problems. I had them before she was born and she has been sick since birth.
Today I received confirmation that I have mitochondrial disorder type 1 and 3. For me, it is nice to have answers because we know where to start looking, reasearching, ect. We can start getting appropriate medical care and be taken seriously by medical doctors.
My hubby is not so fond of having an answer. He is grieving and in the anger faze at the moment. His response was "NO more children--period-& NO u don't get a choice in the matter." :(
I just needed to get it out and talk to some one. Thanks for listening. | Sep 21, 2009 b-girl Mom to Jasmine aka: Jazz 01/24/2007 Dx with silent reflux at 8 months FPIES, DGE, MSPI.
