Emily's EGD
Emily had her endscopy done this past friday. She did very well. The Dr. said that her esophegus and stomach looked fine, he took lots of biopsies but visually it did not look like EE. Which we were fine with b/c we didn't think she had EE. He said she had lots of mucus But looked like no damage and not inflammation, so that is great!

the GI did say the small intestine was remarkable though. He even said it looked "weird" but he couldn't give me any elaboration because he didn't want to speculate until the biopsies came back. i wish he would have speculated cause we have to wait until thursday to find out!

Ryan was born May 20th 2008. 9 lbs 2 oz. Ryan’s magic bullet was 30mg of Prevacid capsules mixed with Caracream from Marci-kids (I am forever indebted to the team at Marci-kids), Claratin for the mucos, and Mirlax for the constipation. Within 2 months of this combo he jumped from the 6% to the 50% for weight and continues to climb. Be strong, listen to your instincts. Read his story for more specifics that just might help you too - Karen
Interesting.. What did he say about all the mucus? Is he giving her anything to clear it up?
