sandifer's updateReese went to her GI appt today. The Dr doubled her Prevacid and took her off tha Bethanacol. Mylanta is a must for her from now on. Thanks to all the advice we actually began all these changes before we even got to the Dr. She had 3 great days, but today was really rough! She didn't keep much down and she cried in pain most of the day. I hope it was just a bad day, but I am fearful that this will continue. As a parent it just hurts so bad to see your baby hurt and be helpless to stop it. Today my heart aches but I still feel hopefull tomorrow will be better.
Thanks again to all the moms who took the time to give me advice and support! It really makes days like this a bit more bareable!!!

|Hang in there momma! It is a rollercoaster. Bad days and good days. The ladies on this forum have always made those bad days more bareable for me as well. The high days are high and the low days are low. So does she now take 15 mg am and 15 mg pm of the Prevacid? It will take at least two weeks of the increased dosage before things will improve. It took about 4-6 weeks at the doubled dose for my son to show great improvement. If there is any damage it will take a while to heal as well. I know the next couple of weeks will be hard but thank goodness for mylanta for break through pain. Just make sure you space it with the Prevacid. I'm so glad your appointment went well and you found a dr to listen to you and address your concerns. Keep us updated.||Check with your
