Hi,

Just a quick follow up question Re: Nathan's feeding issues.

Do you know if Audrey has decreased the amt. of milk taken in when she squirms or seems uncomfortable? Does it happen all the time? Is she able to sleep lying down? Does she sleep on her back of front? Just wanting a bit of comparison since our babies seems so much alike in many ways...

Thanks!

Kathryn, Pager Volunteer and mommy to Emily Mia 02/04/07. 3 years old with GERD. 30mg Prevacid and Pepcid AC. Mylanta needed for flares. Failed prilosec med switch. Tried and failed many med weans but GERD and pain are well controlled. Functional constipation. Reoccurring SBBO. Suspected IBD or autoimmune disease. Resolved issues: MSPI, CSID (acquired), Stage 2 kidney reflux, Chronic diarrhea.
Audrey Meadow 06/20/08. born 34/35 weeks. Still b/f and eats everything! ftt and chronic constipation.
at the time, which was until she was about 8 months old, she was primarily breastfed. until we got her constipation issues partly dealt with, she would squirm every time she ate. (this was very painful for me!) i was told that she was getting less milk b/c her weight gain was low. So we added in 8 oz bottle everyday. she would squirm on the bottle too. if i fed her laying down next to me she would squirm but i found sitting her in her swing for some reason was better for her.
there were times when she was calm but it was after we gave her a suppository and she pooped really well.
she would sleep on her back but mostly on her belly. hth!

Thanks Kat,

Sounds all to familiar. Nate LOVES his swing. He naps there a/m and p/m. He would live in it if he could. I feel that he doesn't like to be held a lot, which is hard for me to deal with. He just seems happier in the swing. I can imagine what you went thru with BFing.

Nate always squirms on the bottle, except in his sleep. So who knows what's going on. we're doing a wt ckeck on Mon., so we'll see.
