Adriane update
Well, Adriane has had a rough couple of nights and it is hard to say whether it is from reflux, allergies or both. I know that my allergies have been terrible but yesterday her face swelled and turned red. She was self medicating again. She will put the Benadryl cream on her face by herself. She was bringing James the tylenol and maalox also. So, we really don't know what it is. The doc kind of snickered and said that she is still amazed at how smart she is for having all the issues that she does. So, the ped has upped her Nexium. We are taking it twice a day 5 mg each. If that doesn't work then we will do 5mg in the am and then 10 mg pm. And so on. So, now she is on 4mls of Zantac twice daily, 5mg Nexium twice daily, zyrtec 1/2 tsp am, atarax (allergy med) 2mls pm, pulmicort twice daily, albuterol twice daily. That doesn't include her emergency meds (Benadryl, prednisone, maalox) I am having a hard time spacing everything out. Any suggestions. The doc said that if they are closer together it wouldn't hurt the absorption too much but I don't want to pay that much for meds that aren't going to work because of my spacing issues.

On a different note, we heard from the director of the Diagnostic Center in St. Louis again today. They are pushing her appointment back so they can schedule a visit with the director of Allergy/pulmo/immunology at the same time. They are thinking of doing the endo/colonoscopy when we are there and possibly another allergy test. I am so glad. I keep thinking they might recommend a fundo again for the reflux and I'm not sure if I would fight it like I did last time or not. I am just ready for some answers.

Okay, she upped the Nexium to 10 mg twice a day. Sorry, I was out of it!
