Hi
I haven't been around for quite a while. I saw something in a parenting magazine that I wished I had had when Jessie was a newborn and had such bad reflux. It's called napnanny(www.napnanny.com) and it's $130. I think that may be cheaper than some of the other reflux pillows I have seen and it's definately cheaper than the Amby bed. SO I just thought I'd pass that along. You all may have already heard of it. Jessie is doing well off meds and is 20 mos and Jenna ended up having irritable bowel syndrome instead of reflux. Thinking of all of you. Cristy

Debbie, Mom to:
Derek,10/29/02 GERD,Can't have any legumes(soy, being the worse), allergic to PN/Tree Nuts, struggled to gain weight for years, my "picky" eater,Takes Zegerid. Johnny, 12/05/99 GERD, managed by diet, allergic to cashews/pistachios.
This looks wonderful, I would have liked to have it for my 6yr old son when he was a baby. Now I put wood blocks under the foot of his bed. When I prop him up too much, he still rolls to the middle of the bed! Sorry to here Jenna is suffering, my 9yr old just got diagnosed with reflux, seems he always had some of it, never told me, guess he thought it was normal, he eats to sooth himself, not overweight, but a big 88lb. tall 9yr old. I have to stop him from over snacking! Looking back, he always had a dry cough off and on. Last 4 months he developed stomach aches, I thought he was getting sick all the time, then he finally started saying his throat hurt, and his chest. He had 15 eos. in his esophagus. Good luck with your children. Debbie

No I have irritable bowel too and I take immodium, but it doesn't help that much. The liquid immodim tastes so bad I haven't given it to her yet. The best thing is a low fat diet, but we have pizza night and that's when she feels the worst.
