How many of you read the news items?
There has been quite a bit of news in the reflux world lately. Do you occasionally glance at the news items on the bottom of the home page? There is a new PPI just coming on the market. I'm not sure if they have tested it on kids yet.

If you download the full prescribing info, it has no pediatric dosing info, and says the safety in children under 18 has not been established. I am sure they will be looking into that though. Very interesting though, thank you!

Mary & Nicholas 7-17-03 (non-refluxer)allergies, asthma on Singulair and Flovent & Aidan 1-28-07(my refluxer)Nissen Fundoplication on June 20, 2008, FTT, MSPI, DGE, ear tubes, allergies and severe GERD now currently taking just Prevacid and drinking Elecare Vanilla 1+.
I read the news items. I love that they are making a delayed release form of Prevacid. It seems like such a good idea. I also like to read some of the studies that really seem to support what most of already know on here like reflux babies seem to sleep best on their bellies. Now if only we could get all those peds to read this info!
