Audrey Meadow 06/20/08. born 34/35 weeks. Still b/f and eats everything! ftt and chronic constipation.
it's 10 o'clockand both girls are sleeping!! Audrey has 2 little teethies now, you know how i know? i am still BFing, ouch! LOL I switched her formula to carnation goodstart and it seems to agree with her a bit better. I still have to be super diligent with the mirilax or she won't go for days if i miss one dose. She has decided that she does not like eating solids that much anymore, i don't really know what to do about that, but it seems to be so hard on her tummy (up and down) so i am giving her a break. She has survived her first illness too, she got 5th disease (slapped cheek) and you would have never known shes sick shes such a trooper! i think she might be breaking into the 15 lbs mark she seems bigger to me, oh man and she can move now too! she can drag herself anywhere, emily is not so thrilled at the prospect of a mobile baby but sometimes she is amused
emily has for the past 4 weeks had a fever on and off. its super mysterious. she has a red throat but it's not strep. personally i think it might be from reflux but i'm not sure if that's possible. she says shes sleepy and gets super irritable. i had them check her urine jic of a UTI we get the results on monday. if shes not feeling better by next week we have to get blood drawn. on the bright side she has had normal poop for the past 3 weeks!!! nothings changed in diet or environment, well that is obvious to me at least, so i think her 32 day flare of diarehea ended. i hope the normal goes for longer then 32 days! next week is her birthday, she's going to be 2! :( :) time flies while your on the reflux roller coaster lol

Julie - I have three children. My youngest Katie is my refluxer. My first Ben was very colicy and is ADHD. My middle Jakob is pretty easy going. Katie had it bad as a baby no sleep for two years. She was on Nutramagin, Prevacid and Zantac. Thought we were through it but after age three it came back big time. After her scope she was put on Prevacid 45mg a day and mylanta as needed. Scope was in Sept. Showed damage in stomach and espophogus. It took about 7 months of medication and Reflux diet for her to start feeling better.
|Thank goodness the diarrhea is gone! Hope her fever goes away too.|

This is our dd, Alessandra. Dx with GER 10/07. Ran the gamut with meds and now done with them (crossed fingers). Using magnesium, probiotics and prebiotic supplements. With the exception of teething and general sassy attitude, all is well now. They really CAN grow out of it!
|I envy you! I thought we had the sleeping going well last night, but then midnight to 3 am was nasty! Which GS are you using? With the constipation, we had the best luck with Natural Cultures, AND adding an extra probiotic as well. I'm so glad Emily's doing better, and hope the fever is just a random thing!||Check with your
