Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
You're too sweet! I hate to say it but today may be the day. So far so good. She had 100 this morning but so far, nothing this afternoon. Not like the other days. She's feeling pretty good. Hopefully she's getting better.

Well, that is good. I hope she continues to get better. I had walking pneumonia for the last 4 months of my pregnancy. I can't imagine being 9 and having it. I'm sure I did but luckily I don't remember. Maybe that means she won't either. I hope she feels better soon!

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
hurray from me too!

I guess we'll be going to the dr tomorrow morning. Her fever isn't as high but it went up to 101.3 this afternoon. What is it about the sun going down that makes stuff get worse. She's hacking now too. I do see improvement, but still...

PICTURE: Aubrey in her cute cat outfit. If you look you can see how her right foot turns in. She walks that way as well. It is not as exaggerated in the morning's but gets worse in the evenings. This was after her nap.

Did they put her on ab's? Aubrey was on Biaxin and it seemed to work quickly. Between that and the nec trtmnts she got better quicker. The cough still lingered for a bit, but it wasn't the gagging make her throw up miserable cough. Keep us posted.

She was on amox for 5 days then they diagnosed the pneumonia. Then they put her on omnicef. I'm sure she's getting some better, I just don't know if it's ok to send her to school or not. That's the hard part.
Check with your
doctor first!
