New sleeping arrangements
I got so tired of getting up in the night to see Jazzy everytime she cried, that I ended up just sleeping with her when I went into her room (she's on a double matress on the floor). It always ened up badly too, as she would want me to pick her up and walk, or rock her. I would end up losing so much sleep etc... Her matress is now beside our matress on the floor...Like one big bed, and wouldn't you know it we are all sleeping a bit better....not great mind you, but definately better. All I have to do is roll over to her matress now instead of getting up to see her. I hope this last!!!!

I am sorry you are having such long nights. I can totally relate. We also keep Meggy's mattress in our room on the floor. It is totally exhausting. I hope it works for you this way and that she will continue to improve in her sleep patterns.

May our kiddos heal over time and sooner rather than later. Wishing u the best. Keeping u in my mind and prayers.

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
When Mags was having her issues, my philosophy was "do what I gotta do". I mean, I'm still paying for some of it, but hey--we got through the hard times. Sleep is something that is necessary. I figure you do whatever you have to do to get sleep. With Maggie, that meant putting her out of our room-go figure. She was so noisy, we couldn't stand it.

I agree, do what I have to do to get thru it all!!!

Kat, the ikea product is the slat inserts that slides inbetween the matress and the boxspring. It's called sultan Lerback. I have the link somewhere for anyone interested.

doctor first!
