help....looking for a pediatric allergist
Hello! Does anyone know of a great pediatric allergist in the Atlanta, Georgia area? If so, please email at lawanda@hemc.net. We are looking for a second opinion and would love to try to see a doctor that worked for some of you! I have a six year old with GERD, constipation, chronic hives (in Feb. will have had hives for 3 years), angioedema, migraines, asthma and possibly arthritis. The meds he takes daily are prevacid, periactin, singulair, pulmicort, clariten and nasonex. He uses an albuterol inhaler and takes miralax as needed. He is severely allergic to ibuprofen. Allergist has suggested that he avoid nuts of any kind. The doctors are unsure about what causes the chronic hives and angioedema.

Zack born 09/28/07 @ 31 weeks. Dx silent reflux @ 6 mo. Now not so silent. Switched to Elecare @ 9 mo. On Prevacid 15mg 1x daily. Looking to stop the puke and gain some lbs.
Puke stopped about 24 months and he's learning to eat...very slowly.
Still on prevacid and periactin.
I'd like one in Los Angels, too...I'm SOOOO not thrilled with the one I'm working with.

My previous drivers license was also stolen. The new one has extra security features on it.
Meggy, her daddy, and myself all go to this practice practice

When I first started going to this practice, My lung capacity was that of a 2 year old. I was in my early 20's then. Now, my breathing is close to normal with a few episodes of asthma flares here and there.

Meggy has only seen Dr. Greenhawt there 1x. We r waiting till we get back from Hopkins to see what happens there. He seemed quite caring and helpful. He is wanting to set up here in Atlanta to have an EE center here. We will work from her biopsy results coming up the end of January. His tentative plan was pulmicort with splenda to swallow and back on elemental formulas.

Anyway, there office is in Lawrenceville. U would just have to seen if their way of doing things suits your family.
