Quick update on Amalia
LAst week Amalia was back on track with her feedings. Even tolerating rice and these chicken nuggets I made her. Slept thru the night. This week- complaining the whole night, sleeping with daddy part of the night. Last molar starting to come though. More silent reflux. Tolerating little texture during feedings. Went to GI. Said to keep her on the high dose of prevacid until the last molar comes through. Then wait a month (make sure she is sleeping well, etc..) and try to wean to 15mg. To come back in 4 months. If she still needs to be on the high dose (30mg) then- an endoscopy is in order to rule out narrowing of esophagus due to inflammation, e.e., etc.... I am praying to God she goes back to normal after the last molar comes through. God Bless. Maggie- hope your neighbor and the little girl you told me about are doing better. Still praying for them. Engin- hope you are getting some answers. God Bless.

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
I'm so glad you're keeping your chin up through all her teething issues. That poor girl has serious problems with her teeth. I hope Atalia doesn't.

Thanks for the prayers :) My neighbor is ok. She may not have to have a mastectomy. I haven't talked to her this week bc Morgan has been sick. I didn't want to take anything over to her :( Mely-will you pray for my uncle? They say he has a hernia, but I'm still worried. I get the feeling that they're not telling me something. His dad died of stomach cancer (that was 34yrs ago). I can only pray, but maybe I'm just being paranoid.

You're so sweet to keep up with my prayer requests the way you do :)

Thank you for your kindness and blessings. I hope that she will do much better after those molars come through. May God provide miracles for our little one's.

I did not grow up in anything close to normal, but I often wonder if kids were this sick when we were young.

Thanks everyone. I'll pray for your uncle Maggie. Engin- I have asked my parents many times about this- even just how horrible teething is with Amalia- if kids used to have these issues. They both said they never heard of anything like this..all this reflux, horrible teething, etc... God only knows why, but He knows we are the best mommies for these precious angels. That's why He gave them to us- because He knew we would take good care of them. God has given me a whole perspective on this... of course, mine are mild compared to what your precious one is going through. You can search "Reflux letter" on the forums (if you have not read it already)- That's my perspective. Praying for your little one. God Bless.
