Food combining *Jen R??
Anybody ever heard of this??? My mil who suffers from IBD/UC found this and it claims to nutralize your body in the combination of food you eat thus the elimination of acid reflux and colitis and pain. i would LOVE for this to work but am skeptical. since i am not endorsing this diet, i will not post the link but i am sure if you google you will find it. Jen R do you know anything about this?

My name is being used fraudently to ill represent me. Please be cautious of any information you receive with my name. including engi.nowaira.net, engi@nowaira.net, Engi@nowaira.us, anything from anyone claiming to be Engi Nowaira online. Otherwise, I will be representing myself in person so that everyone will have opportunity to identify me in person.
My previous drivers license was also stolen. The new one has extra security features on it.
Certainly sounds interesting but would be very hard to stand by.

E-mail me the link Kat.

The thing with IBD is that the foods that impact suffers can be different from person to person. I do know of a lot of patients who have found ways to prevent frequent flare ups by altering their diets. Mainly avoiding preservatives, caffeine, fast foods and a lot of the "junk". They do well with good amount of fiber as long as they are not in a flare.

I have found with my own AR that having too many acidy foods in one day can cause huge problems but a few mixed in with more bland foods seems to be ok for me.

Anyway, I don't know if that is the type of thing you are talking about but send me the link when you get a sec. :) Hope you are well!!

IBD sufferers also need to be careful to maintain an adequate intake of all nutrients since bowel disease can lead to absorption and deficiencies. If the "newest diet" is eliminating any of those things than it can backfire on someone with IBD.
