Gail - mom to a six year old with reflux and an infant with reflux
feedings
So far so good....all of the suggestions have really helped. She ate about 2oz's per feeding yesterday until 9 last night when she decided she was hungry. She has been eating 3 1/2 to 4 oz's per bottle since and has only thrown up small amounts 3x's. We also changed from a clear silicone nipple to one of the softer brown rubber ones which she seems to latch on to better. It still takes about sixty minutes for her to eat a bottle. Keeping the feeding log really helped cuz when the dr. called us today I was able to tell him exactly how many ounces she had consumed since tube was pulled. (Thanks...Jessica! I meant to post back yesterday but my six year old has been sick also. Since so many folks seem to have both reflux and allergies on this board I need to do a post for him too.)

Glad to hear it went well. I hope it continues. Sometimes that's all that's needed---to pull the tube. I'd still keep at the feeding log and that should tell you IF she starts to take bigger volumes at once which should be a goal. Wonderful news though. ((HUGS))
