emily has had a low fever, nothing over 101, since Saturday. it keeps coming and going with no tylenol. I could take her temp one hour and it be 101 and the next hour, back to normal. but it will do this a few times a day. she seems to be acting okay other then more refluxing then usual, what do you think this is? i was thinking UTI but her urine smells fine and she is not crying when she pees, i am just stumped at whether or not this is something i would bring her to the pedi about. any time she gets fevers it's NEVER good so i am worried. what do you think could be causing this?

Aurora born March 17, 2007
3 years, 8 months old
Weighs 25.8 lbs
8 lbs 11 oz at birth.
Recovered Chronic Projectile Vomiter
Prevacid Free since September 08
Egg allergy diagnosed Jan 26/09
Has a Pectus Excavatum
Has an Epipen
I'd take her to the ped Kat. I let Rory run a fever for 3 days before taking her in, because other than crappy eating and a little grumpiness, there were no symptoms....she ended up having double ear infections. Emi has a high pain threshold right, like Rory does. Better to be safe than sorry. If it's nothing, fine, but fever is a sign that she is fighting something....hope she's okay. Keep me posted. HUGS!

Mom to Jasmine aka: Jazz 01/24/2007
Dx with silent reflux at 8 months
FPIES, DGE, MSPI. Recently diagnosed with EC (Eosin. colitis and now Primary immune deficiency disease.
Also mom to Nathan. born Jan.20th, 2009, MPI . so far dx with reflux and has an extremely sensitibe GI system. Also dx with primary immune deficiency disease.
I'd take her in too... Having said that, Jazz has been like that for about 6-8 months now. Her immunologist says that it is most likely an inflammatory process in her colon, due to food intolerance, eso etc.... Probably doesn't help you, but might as well rule out infection first.

doctor first!
