Aubrey has walking pneumonia
Yes-I followed my gut instinct and took her in today. The pedi said her chest sounded congested and sent us to the hospital for chest x-rays. Sure enough about 10min after I left the hospital the pedi office was calling-I knew it wasn't going to be good. Walking pneumonia. We are on ab'x, breathing treatments, rondec dm and something else I am sure I am forgetting. It is going to be a long night!!! Oh ya, we gave her yogurt this morning to get her to eat-diahrrea. I think she still can not handle too much milk. She has done this before we the yogurt...sigh.

I am sorry she is not feeling well and you have all of this right around the holidays on top of that. I hope she feels better soon and the antibiotics do their job.

Good job on following your instincts.

Julie - I have three children. My youngest Katie is my refluxer. My first Ben was very colicy and is ADHD. My middle Jakob is pretty easy going. Katie had it bad as a baby no sleep for two years. She was on Nutramagin, Prevacid and Zantac. Thought we were through it but after age three it came back big time. After her scope she was put on Prevacid 45mg a day and mylanta as needed. Scope was in Sept. Showed damage in stomach and espophogus. It took about 7 months of medication and Reflux diet for her to start feeling better.
Never a dull moment! I hope she feels better soon....
