We r home from the sleep study. Of course we hardly slept and we are really tired. LOL

We were glad in a way that if she had to hurt last night was one of the nights. At least they captured over one hour on video of her screaming and holding her head. So, at least all of her doctors have access if they are willing to listen and to see what is going on for themselves.

They did not see any seizures thank God. The tech did spot 2 apneas and others that were questionable from 12am-6am. The tech also noted the crying uncontrollably and then the head holding. She also said hat Meggy snores rather loudly and she is almost positive we will be referred to an ENT for evaluation. We already know she has big tonsils and that she always snores when she is sick.

I forgot to ask about the O2 sats. and the monitor was not visible to me. They tried the carbon dioxide monitor but because her nose was running, they had to disconnect it as it wasn't picking up.

It was hard to get any sleep because every time she turned around the cables wrapped around her neck. But, I am very happy to have completed the test and will anxiously await the results.

LOL. I know that feeling. It seems that is more often what happens. I hope the EEG that is either this coming week or next will be productive too.
Check with your
doctor first!
