Adriane Reese 05/16/07; seemingly healthy when born; diagnosed with MSPI, severe Reflux, Apnea, Ashtma, Epilepsy, and severe food allergies(rice, corn, milk, soy, eggs, oats, wheat, beef, chicken, squash, pumpkin, avocado, etc.);On apnea monitor, seems to be tolerating RCF w/carbohydrate mixed in; on Zyrtec, Xopenex, Prevacid
Adriane just started taking one nap a day. I think it is working better but time will tell. She usually wakes up around 7AM and then eats an early lunch, around 11. Then she goes down by noon or so. I fed her a little late today and she ended up falling asleep in the high chair. I felt terrible but she went straight back to bed and slept until 2:30 or so. Sometimes later but usually she wakes up by then because the babysitter goes to pick up the kids around 2:50 so she is used to getting up around that time. Of course, this works well for us because Adriane usually goes to bed around 6 or 7pm. Depending on the night.

Meggy is up at 8 almost like clock work. When she does nap it is not til 4-7PM then she is up till midnight. It seems even when she doesn't nap, she is up at least till 10PM.

seamus mama
Seamus was diagnosed with Silent Reflux at 3 weeks. Now he is 14 months, on Prilosec and avoiding dairy, soy, egg. Still nursing. A lot !!!
Seamus wakes up around 6 or 7 and nurses for about a half hour..Then he starts his nap somewhere between 10:30 and 12:00, although it is usually at 11:00 AM. he is a shitty sleeper. He usually wakes up once during his nap and I nurse him back to sleep. If he is in a carrier then he will nap for 2 hours total. If he is in bed he will nap for 1.5 hours max.

Lorenzo b.4/25/07 1 week in NICU w/ aspirate pneumonia from a reflux episode; diagnosed GERD at 9weeks; Used Zantac for 5months. Currently using Chinese Medicine and Craniosacral Therapy. GERD, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Sensory Processing Disorder. Ask me about breastfeeding a refluxer! Pic: day 5 in the NICU.
Lorenzo wakes up between 4 and 6 most mornings, then naps, if at all, sometime between 11 and 2 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I don't know how he does it. I'm totally exhausted and ready to sleep long before he ever is....

I have 3 boys, youngest has gerd, 18 months of no sleep. Prevacid 2x/7.5 mg thinking of switching to prilosec.
Hi! David & I usually get up at 7:30 and some days he takes a nap around 3. Really there has been no true pattern in his sleeping except that he is unpredictable. It is a foggy day today as he was up all night w/ a sore throat. God help me! I think it is the pool water he swallowed on Thursday.
