Mom to Ethan, born 4/23/08. Diagnosed with Reflux at about 1 month, started medicating with Zantac, which wasn't helpful for us. At about 2.5 months, we started on Prevacid, twice a day, and that is working much better.
Ethan is breastfed and has a few solids that he is enjoying very much.
Just a quick updateHey everyone. I just wanted to post a quick update, since I haven't had a chance to post in a while, and I missed the update post yesterday.
Ethan is doing really well. He still refluxes, but his meds are doing a great job controlling it. I am beginning to think that a med wean at some point in the future is not out of the question, though I am not planning to start it for a few months. I just always thought the doctor was out of her mind before, and now I'm beginning to think of it as a possibility. lol
I now have two work at home jobs: taking care of another little guy one month younger than Ethan, and keeping the books and doing billing stuff for my husbands new job. I'm not sure what to do with the other little guy. He actually will entertain himself without me holding him all the time, sits in a swing happily. So very different from Ethan!
I have felt so busy that I haven't had a chance to post. I have been reading and praying for all of you as struggles happen.
Computer battery is about to die, but I just wanted to let you all know that I was thinking about you and your little ones.
