Bowing out and saying thanks PAGER!
Well, our reflux journey is officially over and I think it's time for me to move on. I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you that helped us along the way. There really are no words to express what your words of encouragement and advice have meant to me and my family. Somehow even the worst days were a little brighter when there were people I could count on that knew EXACTLY how I felt.

I'll still check in on you guys from time to time, but it will be much less frequent. Feel free to keep in touch. My email is dmyers5375@yahoo.com. Thanks! ((((big hugs))))

Julie - I have three children. My youngest Katie is my refluxer. My first Ben was very colicy and is ADHD. My middle Jakob is pretty easy going. Katie had it bad as a baby no sleep for two years. She was on Nutramagin, Prevacid and Zantac. Thought we were through it but after age three it came back big time. After her scope she was put on Prevacid 45mg a day and mylanta as needed. Scope was in Sept. Showed damage in stomach and espophogus. It took about 7 months of medication and Reflux diet for her to start feeling better.
Yay for you! I look forward to the day when I am not glued to my computer trying to figure things out.

Enjoy your mental freedom.

This is our dd, Alessandra. Dx with GER 10/07. Ran the gamut with meds and now done with them (crossed fingers). Using magnesium, probiotics and prebiotic supplements. With the exception of teething and general sassy attitude, all is well now. They really CAN grow out of it!
Yippee for Halley! We'll miss you here - see you on FB!

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
I will definitely keep in touch, you have helped me in so many ways. I never really said a formal goodbye to PAGER...I am gathering enough courage to do so, lol. I'm so happy Halley is doing so well, take care Donnessa.

Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
