I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.

Mom to Ethan, born 4/23/08. Diagnosed with Reflux at about 1 month, started medicating with Zantac, which wasn't helpful for us. At about 2.5 months, we started on Prevacid, twice a day, and that is working much better.
Ethan is breastfed and has a few solids that he is enjoying very much.
Somewhat. . . He is sleeping a couple of hours at a time, up to 4. He is back to waking up, eating, and going back to sleep. I think he is really hungry as often as he is waking up, because he nurses the normal amount of time, before going back to sleep. We backed off a little on solids, and he is so busy, I am guessing he needs the extra fuel to keep up his pace.

What about Joslyn? Have you discovered the cause of her sleeplessness? Is she doing better?

I really wish they'd stop conspiring against us like that :)

hehe Yeah no more conspiring! Glad he is doing better.

I think we figured out her issue. We have been giving her Tylenol at night and she has slept much better two nights in a row. SO I thin kit is her teeth.

She was sticking her hand in her mouth, chomping down and then ripping her hand out of her mouth. You can see ALL of her teeth just under the gums... but nothing has come out yet. It has been that way since she was 1 month old!

I'm glad that's working. Poor baby. I keep thinking that we'll be getting some teeth here soon, but no visible sign yet. Lots of finger chewing, biting on the paci and drooling, but no teeth.
