back on
so the GI nurse called today and said that the Dr wanted to see her today. We went in and he said the gastrograffin-enema is back on. This friday we will be at St Joseph's Children's. inpatient.

he did another rectal exam and found no stool in there, just like last time. he felt her belly and still felt stool, just like last time. she lost an ounce and a half in weight since last week. could or could not be trivial, not sure.

he is not saying anything until after the gastro- enema. so either he does not know or he suspects something and won't say. he did say it is abnormal for stool to be in the belly and not to be in the rectum, and for that much milk of mag to not be successful. we can continue suppositories every 2-3 days or as needed.

oh and after a week of normal b/m for emily today she started with diarehea again :(

Julie - I have three children. My youngest Katie is my refluxer. My first Ben was very colicy and is ADHD. My middle Jakob is pretty easy going. Katie had it bad as a baby no sleep for two years. She was on Nutramagin, Prevacid and Zantac. Thought we were through it but after age three it came back big time. After her scope she was put on Prevacid 45mg a day and mylanta as needed. Scope was in Sept. Showed damage in stomach and espophogus. It took about 7 months of medication and Reflux diet for her to start feeling better.
Thank goodness they changed their minds and agreed to have the test. Hope the week goes by quickly for you.

Poor little sweeties. We never knew that our lives would revolve around poo.

Hope the test goes well.
