Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
speaking of ot
I've been a little nutsy today (go figure, lol). I'm falling back on my love for music. I used to be obsessed with the DCs like I am KC now.

I loved this song. Every time I listened to it I cried bc it made me think of my niece (not going into details). Now I just found the video after like 6yrs. I cried like a baby!

I am guilty of some of the things in the video. We probably all are.

Mom to Ethan, born 4/23/08. Diagnosed with Reflux at about 1 month, started medicating with Zantac, which wasn't helpful for us. At about 2.5 months, we started on Prevacid, twice a day, and that is working much better.
Ethan is breastfed and has a few solids that he is enjoying very much.
I had not seem the video before, but always found the song haunting. So many of their songs are that way. It is one of the things I really like about their music, makes you think sometimes.

I know that I have and will again, but I never want to do anything that crushes Ethan's spirit. I hope that the pattern of my parenting will be what is remembered, and not the frustrated incidents.

Exactly! Somehow I always knew the song was about abuse and like you said, a lot of their songs made you stop and think. I still love them and I wasn't one of the fans that crushed up their cd's when she spoke out about Bush. I respected her for standing up for her beliefs and not backing down.

The stuff I'm guilty of is turning from Morgan sometimes when she needs me. That song makes me cry even if it's just in the background. I don't even have to be paying it much attention.

Morgan was little when I listened to their music all the time and I have several videos of her singing their songs and pretending to play a violin or fiddle ;)

The chicks are the only country music my husband will listen to, and some nights he plays their stuff on his guitar for Ethan.
