We're back, and here to stay!
Hi Ladies! I am officially back online. I just got a laptop for school and I'm tapping into the neighbors wireless router.lol I have soooooooooo much catching up to do, but I wanted to let you all know I've been thinking about you all! I missed you guys this summer! As for us... Ray is now 3! (Where does the time go!?) Hes almost completly potty trained. Just not at night. Hes been off meds all summer, but sadly....his symptoms are back. :o( I'm thinking about starting him back on the solutabs. We'll see what the pedi says. Will is now 1 year old (13 months old)! Hes walking now. Still yet to sleep through the night...oy... Still on Nutramigen, cant handle any milk or soy milk....refuses to drink Rice (any suggestions would be great). Doing well with foods but is allergic to milk protein, soy, citrus. Hes on 15mg Prevacid solutabs....seems to sleep worse now. I just found out the Solutabs have lactose in them though! Now what!lol Our dog Dotti, the coonhound passed away. :o( She was full of tumors.... We have since gotten a Cocker puppy named Sammy! Hes a sweetie. I have alot of reading to do, so I will go start.lol

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
Love the pumpkins! So sorry you might have to go back to meds. That's a bummer. Lots has happened for you, huh. I'm really sorry about your doggie. Ours is 10...it's sad when they start getting older.

My dd was MSPI and could not tolerate the solutabs. Her GI put her on Zegerid. It has been wonderful. She stayed on Neocate then went to Neocate One + until she tolerated soy milk a few months ago. Are you still doing formula?

We tried Neocate, but at the time it was too thin...and made him projectile vomit. :o( But anything besides Nutramigen makes him puke. Hes still on it (Nutramigen), we only have to thicken his night time bottles now (7oz) then he has 2-3, 4-5oz bottles during the day. I've been thickening with Oatmeal cereal. The doctor wants him off the formula by 15 months, but where should I go from there? They keep pressuring me to try cows milk again, but everytime I do....he gets diarrhea with a butt full of open sores. :o( I didn't mean to rant!lol whoops...

Picture: This is what happens when you raise a kid on health food and they get ahold of a Coke! Bad mom, that soda is NOT on the reflux diet.
UPDATE: Isaiah is now 12 and off meds! He is doing great, eating again and hopefully will be catching up in the growing department. I am still in the "hoping it sticks" phase, but we're so happy that he's better!
I am ROTFL about those pumpkins! So funny. Sorry that the reflux isn't better, and about the sleep! Your boys are darling.

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
Those pumpkins are HILARIOUS! Sorry that your lo is still having reflux issues :-(. I'd be worried about the milk too with those kinds of reactions. Is there a "step up" from Nutrimigen?
Check with your
doctor first!
