Prestyn and Avary had their new T Tubes in this past Tuesday. They did wonderful but I didn't. It took him almost 30 mins for each. He said that with the severe infection and then their pin hole ear canals he had a hard time getting them in. Otherwise they did fine. Avary's right ear is still draining quite a bit but Pressy is all better already. They are starting to let go now standing up. Before long I had better watch out... There is not alot of difference in their size and Braddy. He is in a 9-12 mos and they are wearing a 6-9. Boy how time has flown...

Braddy will be 2 in only a month and a week. He is responding well to the med wean so far. We have taken him off of a dose of Zantac. He is now only on 1. I am hopeful since he has all of his teeth now his reflux will stay under control for a while. The GI 2 wks ago was pleased with his new upper GI. He showed a drastic decrease in the severity of the reflux. Praise God. I never honestly thought I would hear that. He said Braddy will probably have it for life and be on medicine but at least it has improved and now he is tolerating a variety of foods that only a month ago he didn't.

Michael is still real sick. He keeps bleeding for some unknown reason. He now has a sinus infection so that could be a possibility. If he has not improved by Thurs they are going back in to explore. He is now 40 lbs smaller. Too bad I am not the one losing instead of him. I have 15 lbs to where I was when we got married. LOL I will get there eventually putting up with him.

I am going to do laundry now. I think if I did 10 loads a day I wouldn't stay caught up.

Also I just wanted to pass on... The little baby that I asked you to pray for back in June that was in NICU. His daddy was a state trooper who was shot and killed by a man when he pulled him over passed away last week. He had just got back here to Asheville from Duke where he had heart surgery. I do not know these people only my heart breaks for what she has went through. Keep this mom in your prayers. I think they said she was like 21 or 22. Carla

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
I am sorry that Michael is still not doing well...I would seriously get a second opinion from a University or something.

WOW...Braddy must be growing (you said back in July he was in a 0-3 / 3-6 month clothing) so that is a VERY POSITIVE thing!!! Has he had his follow up at Duke for his possible feeding tube yet?? What great news about him not refluxing as badly. Don't be discouraged about a GI telling you that he will probably have this for lifetime...IMHO, no one is qualified to to predict that far into the future.

As far as you, how is your back from you accident this summer? I know you said your T11 vertebra was completely flattened and they may have to do surgery. This happened to a relative of mine so I know how serious and what long recovery it can be.

I haven't been on PAGER much these past few months so when I respond, I always have to go back and do a search to see if I missed something, lol. I hope the boys tubes can stay in place this time, take care Carla.

I will tell you that Brandon had his adnoids out at 2 and we are really battleing sinus' and have been for a year. It may just be something he battles. We had AUbrey's adnoids out a year ago and she still has had some sinus'.

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
We need a pic update....get them all together and give us a peek. I know it must be easy to get 6 kids to sit together. How are the older ones?
