Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
It's been awhile...miss you guys...I have a QUESTION
Hey all. I read when I can, I do miss you all very much!!

Nate has a double ear infection and is vomiting and has diarrhea too. My mom was put in the hospital on Thursday night, she had a mild stroke. I feel like I am in a tornado right now.

I do have a question...I have been giving Nate ONLY water mixed with a tad of sprite, toast and rice to eat. He hasn't thrown up since yesterday at 5pm. I know the poor guy wants some milk, do you think it's safe now? I don't want to ruin anything. I fed him some chicken for dinner last night and a waffle for b-fast today(no syrup) and he has kept it down.

He never once ran a fever with this. I am still not convinced it is a virus...dh says for sure it is. I guess we will know if one of us or Adam gets it next. I hope you are all having a nice weekend.

My mom is being kept a bit longer for observation. Her heart rate dipped last night so she will not be going home today. She already wants to go to work tomorrow...please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. TIA!!

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
Hey girl, I would start out with watered down milk before moving to the "full dose" (maybe 1/2 and 1/2). Hope he's on the road to recovery. Keep us posted on your mom.
