Back and with good news (Elyse)
We got back from a mini vacation with Vanessa and Cassie and the daddies...we went to the beach, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. Elyse HATED the rides, LOVED the ocean (she even went all the way under the water and wanted more, and face dove into the sand and wanted more). Her favorite part of the parks was playing with Cassie! I am at work right now but will post pics soon. We had a ton of fun and got home at midnight and had to work the next day.

The good news part is that ELyse was a hog the whole trip. Usually when away from home she does not eat or drink well. I fed her all day long for 4 days! Also, there were times at the parks when I just dumped a juice box into her cup undiluted and she just drained it! I don't advocate giving kids straight juice in large amounts, but it meant we did not have to worry about hydration issues. She still won't drink anything like milk and can only use one type of sippy with a valve, but she is DRINKING and that is so exciting.

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
Yay for her! If she ever goes through a feeding funk, tell daddy that you have to go back to Disney :)

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
a happy place will do crazy things!!! hehe. Its magical!
