Renee, mother to Nicholas, born 4/18/08 with silent reflux, moderate laryngomalacia, Sandifer's Syndrome& suspected MSPI. On Neocate, Simply Thick and Prevacid. Also mother to Nathan, born 12/06/06, who had mild reflux the first few months.
First Day of Daycare
Well ladies, you were right. I think it was harder on me. Nathan fussed a little (suppossedly stopped after I left) and cried when I tried to get him to leave. He didn't nap at all, but I wasn't surprised. We have never been able to get him to nap outside a crib yet. He fell asleep on the ride home with a piece of cheeseburger in one hand and two french fries in the other. I think he had a pretty exciting day. We're both all pooped out!!

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
Yay! Mags has never napped anywhere besides a crib either. She didn't nap long her first couple days at daycare but by the 3rd or 4th, she was taking regular naps. He'll get there.

ethan's mom
Meridith, mom to Ethan born 4/23/08. Ethan was diagnosed with reflux at about 1 month. He has been on Zantac (unsuccessful) and Prevacid. He is currently taking 7.5 mg of Prevacid 2x per day, with good results. We also suspect MPI, though this hasn't been confirmed by a doctor yet.
Ethan is mostly breastfed, though we are doing one bottle of soy formula each day. We also do some homeade "solids' including, so far pears, avocado, sweet potato, and peaches.

I'm glad it went well. You should have taken a picture of him sleeping with a cheesburger and fries in his hands.

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
Yeah!! I'm glad it went well. Halley actually sleeps BETTER at daycare than at home. I'm not sure how they do it - sprinkle fairy dust or what.

Hope he naps today. I'm happy for you that it went well. The first few days are the hardest.
Check with your
doctor first!
