Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Sebastian is Martha Stewart (Obviously OT)
Well, everyone told me that Sebastian would eventually start copying everything I do. Well, he does.... HE CLEANS!!! He goes and opens his wipes, then toddles around the house, rubbing random things with wipes - the floor, the TV, his toys, the refrigerator. I guess I am more obsessed with cleaning than I thought (who would have thought THAT would ever happen???)

I can't wait until he is old enough to do real chore. I will sit back on my couch, put my feet up on the ottoman he has peed on 4,789 times, and sip some white wine while he vacuums and Swiffers around me. I am hoping this happens by about Christmastime because I really do hate cleaning my house every freaking day. :)

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
I don't want to shatter all your dreams but...Maggie does that and I almost NEVER clean, lol. Also, when he's old enough to really do it, he won't. Morgan is not happy when I ask for her help.

On a not so negative side, it's so cute when they start doing stuff like that. I love it!

Renee, mother to Nicholas, born 4/18/08 with silent reflux, moderate laryngomalacia, Sandifer's Syndrome& suspected MSPI. On Neocate, Simply Thick and Prevacid. Also mother to Nathan, born 12/06/06, who had mild reflux the first few months.
Nathan is enamored with the vacuum-always has been. Last year for his first birthday he got a little dirt devil made for kids and pushes it around whenever we run the big one. I keep meaning to get him a feather duster to see if he'll maybe do some of the dusting that is down low!

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
That's so cute!!! Halley loves to help too - but she should since she made the mess (we don't call her Hurricane Halley for nothing). She's obsessed with the mop and broom...I'm hoping she can teach her daddy how to use them, since apparently he lacks those skills.

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
Keira tried to use the Swiffer Wet Jet (w/out the cleaner of course) today on the floor. She was going back and forth with it. DH laughed so hard watching her and when he went to move it she had a fit. :P

Melissa I will share in your dream too... I am sitting here on this laptop instead of cleaning house. I did nap today so I can stay up a while cleaning. Let me know how long it takes you to train Sabestian.
Check with your
doctor first!
