Strollers - OT
Hi guys, i'm in the market for a new stroller...Zack has outgrown the carseat and stroller adapter and the travel system stroller that came with it is this huge monster that I hate. Here's what I'm looking for...RUBBER tires (I hate the plastic ones), storage space/ drink holder, folds up easy...not too heavy...any ideas??? THANKS! Oh and not too expensive...

Mary & Nicholas 7-17-03 (non-refluxer)allergies, asthma on Singulair and Flovent & Aidan 1-28-07(my refluxer)Nissen Fundoplication on June 20, 2008, FTT, MSPI, DGE, ear tubes, allergies and severe GERD now currently taking just Prevacid and drinking Elecare Vanilla 1+.
I have a Chicco unbrella stroller that I love. It is super lightweight but has rubber tires that are off-road tough and it folds up so easy. It has a small place for stuff underneath but it doesn't have a cup holder. This stroller has held up through two tough boys and my 40 pound 5 year old still rides in it occasionally. It is reasonably prices. I will try to post a link to one so you can see.

Renee, mother to Nicholas, born 4/18/08 with silent reflux, moderate laryngomalacia, Sandifer's Syndrome& suspected MSPI. On Neocate, Simply Thick and Prevacid. Also mother to Nathan, born 12/06/06, who had mild reflux the first few months.
I also have the chicco umbrella and do love it for some purposes. We also have the Graco Quatrro Touring stroller. 25 lbs, tons of storage, rubber tires, cup and food holders. Ours was part of a travel system but works without the car seat too when they are bigger.

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
I plan to get the Chicco stroller. Right now we have one of those huge Graco Quattro strollers and let me tell ya- they're nice but too big and bulky. When I go shopping it barely fits in the isles and that's a pain in the butt.

ethan's mom
Meridith, mom to Ethan born 4/23/08. Ethan was diagnosed with reflux at about 1 month. He has been on Zantac (unsuccessful) and Prevacid. He is currently taking 7.5 mg of Prevacid 2x per day, with good results. We also suspect MPI, though this hasn't been confirmed by a doctor yet.
Ethan is mostly breastfed, though we are doing one bottle of soy formula each day. We also do some homeade "solids' including, so far pears, avocado, sweet potato, and peaches.
I have the Baby Trend jogging stroller. It is a travel system type, but also works without the deal. It is great to use, but a little heavy once folded up.
Check with your
doctor first!
