A new start and a ta-ta-for-now :)
Hey Ladies, I started back to work on Wednesday. I just got a temporary assignment for now, since I couldn't start until then because of the daycare transition. Anyway, I started out stuffing envelopes, and today I got "promoted" to project manager, lol. I was the "best" temp, so I got selected to make sure we meet their deadline tomorrow. I'm basically cleaning up the messes made by the other temps and overseeing everything from start to finish. I am really proud of myself. BUT I'm freaking exhausted.

Our day begins at 6am, and we get home at 6:15pm. Once everyone is fed, dishes done, clothes ironed and laid out, bottles made, etc. etc. I'm ready for bed!!!!

I wanted everyone to know that Rory is a completely different child post virus! She eats everything in sight, is learning to drink milk from a cup, asks for her baba and drinks it all up and eats some more. She weighed 18 lbs yesterday at her 18 month well check, so she's already gained back some of what she lost. She is refluxing quite a bit, and has been off prevacid about a month. But she is sleeping all night and not complaining. She didn't cry much today at daycare either. They are pleased. She still cries when I pick her up. She is so happy she can't process it and bawls, lol.

I just want to let everyone know I probably won't be on PAGER much anymore, but most of you know where to find me and vice versa. I ALWAYS have you all in my thoughts and prayers and really appreciate all the support, wisdom, and comfort you have all provided me, for my little refluxer, Rory. I will, of course, update if anything "crazy" happens, and will pop in from time to time to catch up. HUGS to you all. I can honestly say I feel like we are getting a new start, a new chapter, so to speak. Rory is a piglet, and will eat ANYTHING you give her. She even ate playdough this morning, LMAO! Our months of struggle have given me the least pickiest toddler on the planet at the moment and I'm LOVING IT!!! Muaaahh xoxox

Maggie is now 3 years old and reflux free (knock on wood). I still check in some to see how everybody is doing :) Hugs to all!
How many people have said "tata" and not left? LOL I know what you mean bc when I was working full time, it was hard to keep up.

I'm so excited for y'all! I thought of Rory today bc a little boy started bawling when his mom got there. As soon as she walked in the room he busted out crying. :)

Good luck at your job! You know..I hadn't even thought of going to a temp agency till you posted about it. Hmmm....

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Your right, we know where to find you!! I am glad she is an eating machine. I have kinda done the same thing, but without a "formal" goodbye. I can't imagine how hard it is to keep up with you working outside the home. Thanks for being such a great friend and for all the help you have given me for the past year :)
