This is our dd, Alessandra. Dx with GER 10/07. Ran the gamut with meds and now done with them (crossed fingers). Using magnesium, probiotics and prebiotic supplements. With the exception of teething and general sassy attitude, all is well now. They really CAN grow out of it!
Question about milk intro
I started Allie on the milk trial Monday, per the permission of both her GE and ped. Today, during a nap, she had her first through-the-nose vomit. She's never done that before, nor has she ever soaked her bed, walls, and floor. Heck, she's hardly ever even puked while sleeping! We went through the nasty constantly pukey phase but had seemed to outgrow it months ago.

No other issues (no fever, congestion, runny nose...nothing) She's only been getting 2 oz of milk per day, broken up over 3-4 bottles. No allergies or sensitivities, so should I think it's the milk or worry about something else? I think she may be breaking a tooth or two as well *sigh* She's acting a bit off since the vomit, but considering she puked up about 7 oz of fluid, mostly through her nasal passages, I guess that's to be expected.

Sorry - I'm running off again - didn't intend for it to get so long! Thanks ladies!

Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
I'd be inclined to think that it's NOT the milk since she's been on Good Start. The teething does cause them to have more saliva/mucous, which may be the problem. Or it could be a stomach virus - they aren't always accompanied by a fever. Poor little Allie :-(

My previous drivers license was also stolen. The new one has extra security features on it.
Could be the teething, but something to consider is if u r mixing it with the formula. Some kids can handle either formula or full fat cows milk but not mixed together. The Full fat cows milk is very hard on their little tummies.

Our 1 year old daughter has silent reflux, hypotonia as well as benign external hydrocephalus. We are currently weaning onto whole milk (we'll see if it works) and she is also on Prevacid 15mg per day.
Keira will vomit or just spit up but nowadays that's ONLY when she is teething. Then it stops. She just started milk this week and no reactions thus far. I think it's probably teething but I'm not a doctor. :)
