Have to check in.....
Hi ladies, It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm still around and keeping tabs on you all!!!

I still haven't received any results from Jasmine's biopsy 3 weeks ago!!!! The Dr was suppose to call me this week and didn't. I called and left messages all week, the nurse called me back and said that the Dr would call me herself....so of course I'm thinking they found something....right? I am so DONE with all this chasing after everyone for answers, why are some people SOOOOOOO incompetent????? Ok, I feel better, but I am worried still, as Jazzy has a lot of bad days still. I can't feed her veggies, milk, soy or really seedy fruit, so she really is not getting much.

Do any of you use vitamins that you give your LO's regularly?

thanks for listening!

I am sorry for the tough road u r on. We tried culterelle for a while with no results, then lactulose, not sure what else. Apple juice seems to help Meggy go, but your lo may not be able to have it. We have to use miralax.
Can she eat avacado?
It is a very fatty, high calorie food.

Jessica, Mommy to Jedd, severe reflux, severe food and oral aversions, Finally G tube free!!! VSD repair 4-24-07 (open heart surgery), hypospadias, repaired 3 times and Ear tubes Visit Jedd at his CB site: www.caringbridge.org/visit/jedd
We were told IF we duid NOT hear anything all was fine. I certainly hope nothign is worng. How never wraking to be told the DR himself would be calling. HUGS

As far as vitamins. Once Jedd was taken off infant formula nd was mostly on pureed foods we were told to put him on multi vitamen. We were todl that the Flinstome Complete are the BEST. Thye have some type of minieral that the others are missing. We buyt he WalMart generic brand of t hem.

For Jedd's age he only needs 1/2 of one a day. Thye are chewable but of course Jedd doesn't know how to chew them>>>LOL

I break them in 1/2 withj a butter knife and then crush them with te butt end of the knife and add them to one of his purreed foods per day. Works like a charm.

About a month ago Jedd needed blood drawn. They checked it for everything (they were lookin gfo rinfectin markers). His blood had the perfect perfect balbnce of minerals and vimten levels!! The Pedi. was highly impressed. Esp. considering all that Jedd goes though eaitingwise!!!!

I highly recommend them.

Elyse has a rx multivitamin. If the dr has not called the biopsies were probably perfect. They call right away when there is a problem. Why can't she have veggies? have you checked out healthy times website and the one for the freeze dried fruit/potatoes? (I will find it for you if you are interested). Healthy times is milk/soy free.

Veggies give her horrible gas, diarrhea and pain, as does everything else I mentioned. I hope the dr calls me this week, since she did say that she wanted to speak to me, I am assuming she has something to talk to me about.......... Thanks for the Vit. tips !!

Good to see you! I was wondering about Jazzy. So sorry you still haven't heard about the test results -- How frustrating. We don't take any vitamins, but I just wanted to say hello! I hope that doctor calls you back soon!!! With GOOD news :-)

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Can you start calling every day? That is awful. I don't know why doctors can be this whole other subspecies who just don't understand what it is like to wait on pins and needles for results about your child. I basically had to stalk our GI for Sebastian's results, but it ended up being futile since she was wronnnnggggggggggggggggg.

I took FLintstones throughout my pregnancy because my doc said they were plenty good...

Check with your
doctor first!
