Chris: Mom to Rayna Marie our little miracle born June 13, 2007. 7lbs 12oz. Diagnosed with GERD after ph probe at 5 weeks. Current weight 21lbs 8 oz. Prevacid 8ml in a.m. 2% milk
Rayna's 15 month well baby check
Finally 22 lbs 4 oz but only 28.5 inches tall :o( Hopefully she'll start getting taller. It's hard finding pants for her that I don't have to roll up! The doctor gave her a tongue depressor to play with while she examined her then the nurse came in with 3 shots, the first I don't think even bothered her because I was taking the tongue depressor from her until shots were over, and I think that made her more mad than the shots! OMG did she cry, I couldn't console her and she kept saying where's that over & over again and I realized she was asking about the tongue depressor so I gave her another one and the tears slowed.

ethan's mom
Meridith, mom to Ethan born 4/23/08. Ethan was diagnosed with reflux at about 1 month. He has been on Zantac (unsuccessful) and Prevacid. He is currently taking 7.5 mg of Prevacid 2x per day, with good results. We also suspect MPI, though this hasn't been confirmed by a doctor yet.
Ethan is mostly breastfed, though we are doing one bottle of soy formula each day. We also do some homeade "solids' including, so far pears, avocado, sweet potato, and peaches.
That's cute! I think tongue depressors are less expensive than most toys. :) I'm glad to hear that she is gaining, and hopefully she'll grow an inch or two in the next month or so.
