Aubrey and high fever
This morning she woke w/ 104.6. She is drinking pedilyte and I have a call into the pedi. I talked w/ a nurse who suspects she has a virus on top of the sinus infec. She wants to consolt w/ the doc and will call back. She woke every 20min last night. Poor Brandon is upset we will be at home tonight for his bday. He wanted to go out to eat... What a rotten week. I still have tons of running to do!! I may do it after the kids go to bed. Please pray we can resolve this quickly. Nothing with Aubrey comes easy tho...

I am Jacky, mommy to Joslyn Olivia (April 2008) and Katelyn Isabel (November 2009).
Joslyn was dx'ed with Silent Reflux with breath apnea at 5 days old. VERY SCARY!
Katelyn is a spitter reflux baby. Started at 3 days old as well. (Both were/are breast fed.. symptoms came on when my milk came in).
Joslyn has been reflux free since she was 12 months (suffered poor weight gain for a few months) and Katelyn is now on Zantac... waiting to see if it works.
ouch! that is high!!!! Poor baby! Hope she gets well soon!!!! Poor brother! That has to be horrible for him too!

I hope the pedi can help her out and you. I wish I lived closer I would help you out with whatever you need to get done for the party. I like to shop so I would go and run your errands.

Mom (Danie) to Adam (9-4-03) & Nate (3-7-07) Nate was diagnosed with silent AR at 2 months old. He was on neocate, prevacid 30mg per day and couldn't start solids till he was almost 8 months old. He started cow's milk at 14 months and is currently off all meds!! So far so good :) PIC: Disney trip 2008. Nate didn't know Piglet was there, he didn't like the characters too much.
Yikes...that's a high one!! Poor Aubrey (and Brandon), maybe just let him choose what you eat at home tonight?? Just a thought. I really hope she kicks that fever soon. I know that Aubrey never has just a "simple" cold or sickness :(

Julie - I have three children. My youngest Katie is my refluxer. My first Ben was very colicy and is ADHD. My middle Jakob is pretty easy going. Katie had it bad as a baby no sleep for two years. She was on Nutramagin, Prevacid and Zantac. Thought we were through it but after age three it came back big time. After her scope she was put on Prevacid 45mg a day and mylanta as needed. Scope was in Sept. Showed damage in stomach and espophogus. It took about 7 months of medication and Reflux diet for her to start feeling better.
Oh I hope that temp comes down soon. Poor baby.....
