Sneaky Fever!! Julian was in Urgent Care!
I guess I got way too excited today when Julian woke up like his usual cheerful self. With the exception of the cough.

Around 4 we left to pick up Elise from Choir practice and we were waiting in the car and he started complaining about how freezing it was! I asked him if he felt fine he said yes, my motherly intuition told me that the fever was coming back...and boy o boy did it come back with a vengence. We hurried home and I took his temp 103.9

Before we could even get home he was complaining that he was nauseous (sp) and has been all evening. Turns out my little man has a double ear infection and some minor throat irritation they did a swab to rule out strep. Either way we walked away with 2 new meds amoxicillan and a cough suppressant, which I refuse to give it has codein(sp). The throat irritation I think is because of all the reflux issues we have been having.

The wierd thing is he never said his ears hurt, but he did complain about a pain in his right eye and it was tearing up on him. His right ear was more irritated than the left.

I hope this isn't the start of a new trend, he is almost 6 and this is his 2nd ear infection. He usually gets the sinus infections, this time his sinus's weren't so bad.

I am so worried and stressed because I have a really important job interview tomorrow, dh is going to take an early extended lunch and come stay home with Julian.

I was in urgent care all evening I am soo tired still so tired from the events of Sunday night, yesterdays adventures and now today...wish me luck ladies. I really need this job, we have been here in Dallas 6 weeks just on dh salary and we are slipping with all the bills.

Hope everyone has a good night, well the best one you can!

Good luck. Ear infection~ yuck. My daughter wouldn't complain her ears hurt but she would vomit on and off for a few days then I took her in and it would be an ear infection. The doc say the vomitting is from balence issues because of the infection. I hope he feels better soon.
