Coyle Eagan. One Year Old. Doing well on Cow's Milk flavored with juice :) Drinking two bottles of Go&Grow daily. Eating solids better but still have rough days. No More Silent Reflux-that I can hear anyway.. but puking again. Zantac 2ML 2X daily.
Update on My B-day Boy
Thank you to everyone for the well wishes. I can't believe he is one year old already. It is hard to believe that i've been on this board for 9 months too! What would I have done without all of you? my friends. You've been such a support and a great help in keeping my son healthy and happier than had I not found this place. His AR has been such a challenge for him and our family. I'm waiting for the day that we wake up and I never see him vomit or hear him reflux in pain.

So, his well check will be on Monday so I'm sure I'll have more to report then. Anyhow, even since last week he already feels heavier. We have completed a complete transition over to Similac Go & Grow formula. He seems to be tolerating it very well. Although, we are back to more puke and less silent AR but the puke seems to not bother him even though he has not had zantac in two days. Whenever he has pain from reflux i give him zantac but thankfully it has been rare in these past few days.

He drinks about 18 ounces a day and Iam no longer feeding him at night when he wakes up. I find that when he does not drink a bottle at night his reflux is more under control and he wakes up hungrier in the morning and willing to eat better throughout the entire day. This morning he ate almost and entire waffle and some yogurt! I'm amazed at how well he is tolerating solid foods these days. He even had pizza yesterday! with tomato sauce! just three weeks ago spaghetti gave him a horrible stomach ache and a reflux flare. He even had about 2 ounces of real milk today! and, he did not throw up!! just a few months ago he was sick for days from dairy. I hope these days are here to stay.

He is able to push a walker toy now but does seem to be walking with his left leg dragging. We will probably have to address this with additional PT and/or a leg brace. He can say Hi, Mommy, and Daddy! and we are working on learning Uh-Oh since his favorite new past time is throwing things: toys out of the tub & his sippy off the highchair to be exact. He's a big boy!

thank you all so much!

Elyse's faucet like vomiting turned off overnight like Halley's, with a few here and there that still continue. She was about 13 mos when it mostly stopped. And soon after, she started tolerating dairy (still no straight milk though....although we can't get her to drink it, either, since that one bottle DH gave her maybe 6 weeks ago that did not agree with her!). Also soon after, she started walking!

Good job Coyle, keep it up!
