Donnessa, mom to Halley born 3/10/07
Reflux (mostly) resolved at 14 months
and Addison born 8/17/09. Currently exclusively bf and on 7.5mg Prevacid
Halley's 18 month well check
Halley had her 18 month check today. I was just looking at her baby book - it's hard to believe it's gone so fast *sniff* *sniff*. Her weight gain has slowed WAAAAAY down since her last well baby check and has actually lost a few oz since her last ear infection visit a month ago - a first for her. She's now 25 lbs 4 oz and 34 inches. My little supermodel-to-be continues to be in the >97th %ile for height and is really starting to thin out. Bye, bye, chunky thighs...I'll miss you SO much.

The pedi said her ears look great, which was a relief. I think the vomiting is a tummy bug because she's been running a fever all day. The pedi thinks her loud snoring may be cured with a humidifier tonight - we shall see.

Melissa - Mommy to Sebastian, born 9/28/07 @ 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.75 in. At docs at 12 months: 27 pounds and 32 in! Good grief! GERD - currently on Prevacid suspension (liquid equivalent of 45 mg a day). Allergic to dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, all treenuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, peas, sesame, bananas, barley, coconut, dust, dust mite, dog, cat, latex. Seasonal allergies. Oral Allergy Syndrome (OAS). Neocate only - no solids - until further notice (drinks and loves water, too). Loves his doggie, our rescued Treeing Walker Coonhound, Louise, even though he is allergic to her. Louise will make your doctor a homemade pie if you would like her to. PHOTO: We couldn't do a cake on Sebastian's birthday, but that didn't stop him from tossing around the contents of a big bowl of popcorn! He now tries to eat it when we play with popcorn, so no more of that game.... :(
Hey Donnessa. Great news! I am glad her ears are looking fabulous. And I hope the stomach bug passes really soon. That sucks. So when does weight gain slow down? Do you have any idea what is a normal amount for kids to gain when they are around a year old? I guess I could google this.

I know what you mean about the chunky thighs. I LOVE them. Sebastian's better not go anywhere any time soon.

No longer aspirating! Yippee!
Picture: Why would Lauren play with the hundreds of dollars worth of toys scattered in my living room?!?! When she could play in a box! Estimated move date: Oct. 3rd!
Glad to hear that everything went well! Lauren's tall and thin too, pants are a struggle right now! 12 months is too short, 18 month fall right off of her...Good luck with the humidifier tonight!

Tracey, mom to Katie. Diagnosed with reflux at 3 weeks and put on Zantac. At 8 months old she was removed from Zantac as it was giving her migraines, currently on Prevacid. Switched to Elecare since she is not gaining weight; trialing solids after being off for a month. Geneticist said reason she isn't gaining weight is she is stubborn. Upcoming appts.: Neurologist for developmental delay and EGD scheduled for September. She is one funny baby!

I have chunky thighs, do you all love them too?? :)

That is great about her visit!!
